INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – An Indianapolis police officer is recovering after being shot in the leg during a domestic violence call that ended with bloodshed. It happened Wednesday night at an apartment complex on the city’s northeast side.
Police say the officer was shot while checking the perimeter at the scene. Two other people, a woman and a girl are fighting for their lives after being shot as well.
Indianapolis Police say the gunman shot and killed himself. Investigators say they don’t yet have a motive for any of the shootings.
