INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – A lawsuit against Ascension St. Vincent is being dropped. The daughter of a woman with COVID-19 was suing the hospital for not using ivermectin as a treatment.
Ivermectin is used to treat parasites in animals and people. It is not FDA-approved to treat coronavirus.
A court hearing was scheduled for today, but will no longer happen now that the lawsuit has been withdrawn.
