(ADAMS) – The Fever are taking Aliyah Boston with the first pick in the 2023 WNBA Draft.
The 2022 NCAA champion from South Carolina joins Indiana after a stellar career with the Gamecocks.
The forward averaged 14.1 points and 10.8 rebounds per game while in college. Boston is the second South Carolina player drafted first overall.
A’ja Wilson was selected with the first overall pick in the 2018 draft by the Las Vegas Aces.
The Fever also took Grace Berger, Taylor Mikesell, LaDazhia Williams and Victaria Saxton in this year’s draft.
