HUNTINGTON CO., Ind. (ADAMS) – The Indiana Department of Transportation says that a portion of State Road 16 will close soon for a culvert replacement.
Starting on or after August 14, crews will be working between State Road 105 and State Road 5. Work is expected to last for approximately three weeks. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
During the closure, drivers should use the approved detour of S.R. 105, U.S. 24 and S.R. 5, or seek an alternate route. S.R. 16 will be open to traffic on weekends.
INDOT encourages drivers to consider worker safety by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when traveling in and around all work zones.
