FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Fort Wayne Mayor Sharon Tucker will attend the 94th Meeting of the U.S. Conference of Mayors. The event will be held June 4-7 in Long Beach, California.
Some of the topics of discussion will include housing, public safety, infrastructure investments, and AI.
The U.S. Conference of Mayors is a non-partisan organization of cities with populations of 30,000 or more.
Primary roles of the organization include:
*Advocacy
*Networking
*Best practices
*Provide mayors with leadership and management tools
*Create a forum in which mayors can share ideas and information
“The upcoming gathering provides me with an opportunity to converse with other mayors about several important issues facing Fort Wayne and the entire country,” Mayor Tucker. “It’s my hope that I’ll be able to share success stories about Fort Wayne as well as bring some new ideas and perspectives back to our community to assist our efforts in being the best city possible.”
