INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – Democrats will be running in 97 of the 100 districts for the Indiana House this November, with the Indiana House Democratic Caucus calling it their largest candidate list this century.
Republicans currently have a 70-to-30 supermajority in the House and are not fielding candidates in 20 districts represented by a Democrat. The minority party is seeking to end the supermajority by winning at least four seats in the election, as the GOP has enough votes to take action without Democrats present.
