INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – The ACLU of Indiana is filing two lawsuits over the treatment of a former ICE detainee at Miami Correctional Facility. The lawsuits allege Andranik Grigoryan suffered a seizure after missing prescribed medication and was later pepper-sprayed by correctional officers.
The ACLU claims the actions violated his constitutional rights to adequate medical care and protection from unjustified force.
The lawsuits seek to hold the medical provider and correctional officers accountable.
