(ADAMS) – A report says at least 12 states have now reported cyberattacks against their water systems that may be linked to Iran.
ABC News says officials in Michigan, one of the newer states to report the attacks, are monitoring the situation and coordinating with federal partners.
There have been no reports of any disruptions to water supplies or wastewater treatment so far. Minnesota was the first state to report the attacks last week.
Multiple reports cite U.S. officials who say the attacks may be linked to Iran.
