FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – A 21-year-old woman is charged with aiding burglary, robbery, and aiding aggravated battery in an apartment shooting last August in Fort Wayne. Autumn Hayden was arrested yesterday.
Fort Wayne authorities say Cortes Morris Jr. is also charged with aggravated battery, burglary, and robbery resulting in serious injury with his trial to start in August.
The Fort Wayne Police Department released the following:
On April 6th, 2023, the FWPD Homicide Unit took Autumn Hayden into custody regarding a previous shooting investigation on August 15th, 2022 at 1608 Reed Rd. Apt. F. Hayden was taken into custody without incident and transported to Allen County Lockup for the charges of Aiding Burglary (Level 1), Aiding Robbery (Level 2), and Aiding Aggravated Battery (Level 3). Hayden was taken into custody in cooperation with the Allen County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
