ALLEN CO., Ind. (ADAMS) – Recounts in two Indiana Senate primaries are being requested.
Paula Copenhaver trails Senator Spencer Deery by just three votes in the Republican primary in Senate District 23.
In District 15, Darren Vogt filed a recount petition yesterday as he trails Senator Liz Brown by 15 votes. Copenhaver was endorsed by President Trump as he sought to oust all Republican senators who opposed his plan to redraw all of Indiana’s U.S. House districts for this election. Trump, however, backed Brown in her reelection bid in Allen County.
Ewelina Connolly has also requested a recount in her Allen County Commissioner’s race after a 65-vote margin.
