FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Visit Fort Wayne has announced new accessibility maps.
The new maps highlight accessibility features at local attractions and venues, using helpful icons to identify resources for mobility, hearing, vision, sensory, and cognitive needs. Each map is designed to help guests better understand what to expect before they arrive, making it easier for families, individuals, and groups to plan a comfortable and welcoming visit.

In honor of Disability Pride Month, Visit Fort Wayne is launching new accessibility maps designed to help visitors and residents explore Fort Wayne and Allen County with greater confidence.
Accessibility maps are currently available for 16 local attractions and venues, including the Fort Wayne Zoo, Fort Wayne International Airport, Parkview Field, Science Central, the Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory, Promenade Park, and many more.
The accessibility maps are available to view online at VisitFortWayne.com/Accessibility/Maps and can be accessed by phone, tablet, or computer. Printed copies are also available for pickup at the Fort Wayne Visitors Center.
These maps were created with support from Greater Fort Wayne’s Leadership Fort Wayne Program and the WindSwell Foundation. Their collaboration helped bring this project to life as part of Visit Fort Wayne’s continued commitment to accessibility, Universal Design, and creating a destination where all visitors feel welcome.
