INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – Indiana Governor Mike Braun is among the 23 governors who signed on to President Donald Trump’s data center ratepayer protection pledge on Thursday.
The pledge is aimed at protecting people from bearing the brunt of utility costs for data center developments. Over the past two years, around five dozen large AI data centers have been proposed in Indiana, and at least 17 counties have enacted moratoriums on those.
